Bonjour! Our students in "Passport Around the World" summer school class had a delightful day exploring France. They enjoyed a picnic featuring cheese, grapes, croissants, and freshly made crepes—très bien! The fun continued as they played "escargot," a popular French children's game. They also crafted some beautiful bracelets. Tomorrow, they we embark on their journey to Scandinavia!

Students in PE Potpourri have been very active these past two days. They've played musical chairs, tag, and done relays in the hallway. Sharks and minnows has been their absolute favorite game to play though! They have been having so much fun playing all their games that students always leave this class very tired and sweaty, as does Ms. Wagner!
Friendly reminder for all students to do their best in bringing a water bottle to summer school every day!

Ciao! Today, students in the "Passport to the World" summer school class explored the wonders of Italy. They learned some Italian, created models of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and even found ways to keep it standing straight. Their culinary adventure included making their own pizza and indulging in delightful Italian cream cakes. Delicious! Tomorrow, they continue their journey to France!

In the "Shakespeare in a Week" summer school class, students diligently practiced their lines for their upcoming play, "The Jungle Book." Today was especially exciting as they began crafting their costumes. Can you guess who will be playing Mowgli, Baloo, Shere Khan, Bagheera, or Kaa? They are having so much fun bringing our characters to life!

Thank you to our Staff Wellness Committee and High Point- Lake Geneva for kicking off our first day of summer school with some treats and drinks for our staff!! We are so thankful for the community’s support in all things Brookwood. 💙
Today, students in the "A Passport to the World" summer school class embarked on a cultural journey to Mexico. They immersed themselves in Mexican culture, learned some of the language, crafted vibrant sarapes, played the traditional game of Loteria, and cooked (and enjoyed) delicious tortilla chips and cheese quesadillas. It was a day packed with exciting activities! Tomorrow, their passports will be taking them to Italy for another day of exploration and fun!
To celebrate the end of the school year for our 4K students and their families, they celebrated by having an end of the school year 4K Olympics. They had a blast and we can't wait to see them all here in the fall for all day 5K!
Not only are our students celebrated at the end of the year but so are our staff! The end of the year staff luncheon was with great food and great company. It’s a time where we acknowledge milestones with years of service. Congrats to: Mrs. Fonk for 5 years of service, Mrs. Soto, Mr. Dittner, & Mrs. Denecke for 10 years of service, and Ms. Cottrell & Mrs. Collins for 15 years of service. We also celebrated Mrs. Sireno for her retirement and her 24 years of service at Brookwood. We are so thankful for our staff and their dedication towards our schools, students, and community. Happy Summer, Mustangs. #OnceAMustangForeverAMustang

The 7th and 8th grade Jazz Band played in the Area Jazz Festival at Badger High School. Six bands participated between Brookwood, Lake Geneva Middle School, and Badger High School. It was great to see so many BMS Alumni playing with the high school band as well! What a great celebration of music! It was also Mr. Bunge's (Badger High School's Band Director) final Jazz Fest before he retires. Congratulations to all who performed! And to our Mustangs.....alumni and current....you make us #MustangProud
