Once you are part of the Brookwood Family....you're always a part of the Brookwood Family. We love being able to share what our Mustangs are doing beyond Brookwood and as they continue to Grow into their Greatness.
Our next alumni of greatness is Brynn Engel.
Brynn is on Team Wisconsin’s wrestling team and took 2nd place at National Duals. She went undefeated and was All American. She is currently ranked 9th in the nation!!!
This past August she attended a tournament in Fargo, ND and placed 2nd.
The US Marine Corps Cadet and Junior Nationals, is the LARGEST wrestling tournament in the world. Each year the pinnacle of high school Olympic Style wrestling in the United States takes place over a week in Fargo, ND.
Brynn will be representing the United States, the state of Wisconsin, her school and community in this cultural based Olympic style completion. She was selected through a rigorous nomination process.
Brynn has demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill in wrestling, and her efforts have earned her a spot on the AAU ISF World Team for the ISF Games taking place in Manama, Bahrain from 10/22/2024-10/31/2024.
We are SO #MustangProud of you Brynn and wish you good luck and safe travels!! We will be rooting you on!!

7th & 8th Graders went to Build My Future SE WI today which is a collaborative effort between Lakeland Builders Association and Racine Kenosha Builders Association. The event was possible because of the generous support of sponsors and the enthusiasm of our exhibitors. This trip allowed our students hands on experience with experts working in the trades.

Fall Fest at Brookwood on 10/19
On October nineteenth from noon to three,
Brookwood Middle School is the place to be.
The sun shines bright, the skies are blue,
As fall arrives with something new.
Caramel apples sticky sweet,
Crunch beneath our eager teeth.
Kids in costumes fill the scene,
Superheroes, ghosts, and queens.
With every trunk, a treat awaits,
Smiles lighting up the gates.
The hayride rolls along the field,
A bumpy joy that cannot yield.
Pumpkins waiting, round and bright,
In the patch, a happy sight.
Cookies dressed with frosting swirls,
Sprinkled by small hands in curls.
Chili simmers, rich and warm,
A fall fest feast that’s now the norm.
From noon to three, come one, come all—
At Brookwood’s Fest, we’ll have a ball!

Mr. Ott, Badger High School Band Director, called this our band "family reunion".
After the Homecoming parade, Brookwood, Badger, LGMS, and Woods bands gathered for dinner at LGMS, rehearsed our songs, and performed during pregame. It was great to see so many Brookwood alumni as current members of the Badger HS band!
Thanks to everyone who came out to support this fun community tradition!
