Fall Fest at Brookwood on 10/19
On October nineteenth from noon to three,
Brookwood Middle School is the place to be.
The sun shines bright, the skies are blue,
As fall arrives with something new.
Caramel apples sticky sweet,
Crunch beneath our eager teeth.
Kids in costumes fill the scene,
Superheroes, ghosts, and queens.
With every trunk, a treat awaits,
Smiles lighting up the gates.
The hayride rolls along the field,
A bumpy joy that cannot yield.
Pumpkins waiting, round and bright,
In the patch, a happy sight.
Cookies dressed with frosting swirls,
Sprinkled by small hands in curls.
Chili simmers, rich and warm,
A fall fest feast that’s now the norm.
From noon to three, come one, come all—
At Brookwood’s Fest, we’ll have a ball!

Family P.E. Week is next week! Have you contacted Mrs. Brenek and/or Mr. Guth on when your child’s class is? We can’t wait to have you all in the buildings on October 8th and/or 9th!
Not only will you be with Mrs. Brenek and/or Mr. Guth but their student teachers too!
We are so excited to have Mr. Ramirez (BES) and Mr. Anderson (BMS) with us.
Here’s a little more about Mrs. Brenek and Mr. Ramierz:
Mrs. Brenek has been here at Brookwood for 9 years and loves having the opportunity to have a student teacher this year because she gets to share her knowledge with him and learn from him at the same time. She thinks what makes Brookwood great is our sense of community along with our staff, families, and students. Brenek thinks P.E. is the best of the best at Brookwood because it is the only subject where one of the standards is to be responsible and respectful. She believes that all of our students are given the skills to become leaders, team players, and advocates for themselves for life.
Mr. Ramirez is currently attending UW-Whitewater and pursuing a license in Physical Education, Health Education, and Adaptive Physical Education. He chose to pursue these degrees because he has a passion for teaching students health, wellness, and about sports. What he thinks makes Brookwood great is the community involvement and inclusivity. His experience here at Brookwood has showcased to him our awesome staff, awesome students, and awesome environment.
Don’t forget to contact Mrs. Brenek if you have a child or children at our elementary school to find out when they have their P.E. class!

The area’s favorite “Fancy Gas Station” is again showing their generous support for Genoa City Schools with another “PUMP PRIDE” campaign! Through the entire month of October, 2 cents from every gallon of gas sold at pumps 11 & 12 at the Genoa City Travel Center will be donated back to the students of Brookwood Schools! Coordinated by area realtor and community member, Erin Weber, this unique fundraiser provides funding that directly benefits the students through field trips, programming, learning opportunities, and more! Please take a moment to fuel up at the Genoa City Mobil and support local business AND local schools!
