The Spanish 2 students at BMS have been learning about Day of the Dead. After writing in Spanish about what they would have on their "ofrenda" and reading about an experience a tourist had while visiting Mexico during the Day of the Dead, the students decorated cookies like calaveras or skulls. #BeBrookwood #BrookwoodsBest

BMS Student Council is in need of YOU —our BMS Students!! This year our BMS student council will be virtual, and or socially distanced when possible for outreach activities and community connections. The Lake Geneva Schools will be offering a FREE 5 day meal box to any child 18 and under through the Summer Food Service Program. Each meal box will consist of 5 Breakfasts and 5 Lunches. The 4th and 5th graders took part in a virtual field trip on Wednesday visiting the National Weather Station! Tim Halbach, Warning Coordination Meteorologist at National Weather Service-Milwaukee, walked the students through how they predict the weather for Southeastern Wisconsin. He showed the students multiple tools including a weather balloon and the doppler radar. Both in person and virtual students were able to ask questions about his job and how he predicts the weather. For our families that attended the BFO Pumpkin Pop-Up Event, our BFO has put together this pumpkin decorating contest but they have opened it to all GCJ2 Families. We can't wait to see your pumpkins! Even if you took a picture last week...turn it in before the end of the day tomorrow!
