Thank you to a local community veteran who was a sergeant and served two tours in Iraq (Operation Iraqui Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom) for writing this for our post today:
"Memorial Day is to honor those that never made it out of their uniform. They gave their lives, so we could live ours. Our country will forever be in their debt.
Please don't thank a veteran on this day, that is for Veteran's Day. Instead, take a moment of silence for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice."
May is Mental Health Month
While we are all trying to find our way through this uncertain time, it is important to have compassion not only for yourself and for others as well.

We’ve got one more virtual teacher for you all to guess and this one is from our elementary school. Can you guess who it is?
Here’s her special message to our friends: “Keep up the great work. I’m so proud of all of you. Remember, you can sit criss-cross, mermaid, or mountain... but knees are not an option.”
